Checks include safe server-side link following (shorteners unrolled, the redirect chain and final domain shown), look-alike and punycode domain detection, domain age, SPF/DMARC sender rules, the URLhaus known-bad list, and scam word-pattern signals. Every check produces a Verdict certificate — signed by the Verdict service — and a shareable link. The share link contains only the verdict summary, never the content you checked. Your content is processed, not stored. What you send is used to produce your verdict on the Verdict service and is not kept. The extension itself keeps only your last result's summary (verdict, score, check names and outcomes — never the quoted evidence) for 24 hours so you can reopen it; the quoted details live only in the browser session in which the check ran.
