StockFishy: Chess Move Analyzer
Overview
Chess analysis for Chess.com & Lichess: every legal move rated and color-coded by Stockfish, piece by piece, to help you learn.
StockFishy rates every legal move on the board, not just the one the engine likes best. Most chess tools show you a single "best move" and leave you to guess why everything else is worse. StockFishy shows the whole picture. Click any piece on Chess.com or Lichess and see every move it can legally make, each one rated and color coded from Best down to Blunder, so you can see the actual gap between your options instead of just the top pick. FEATURES • Every move, every piece. Click any piece to reveal all its legal moves, ranked and color coded by quality: Best, Excellent, Good, Inaccuracy, Mistake, Blunder. • Predicted reply. A dashed arrow shows the response the engine expects from your opponent after the top move. • Continuous analysis. Turn it on and get fresh ratings automatically after every move, yours and your opponent's. • Two engines to choose from. Stockfish 18 runs by default for instant analysis. Switch on Deep Analysis to use Stockfish 19, the newer and stronger engine, when you want a second opinion on a critical position. • Free full game reviews. After a game ends on Chess.com, click "Analyze on StockFishy" to save a complete move by move review to your account, free with no daily limit. Open it later on stockfishy.com to step through the game on an interactive board, see per move ratings and commentary, accuracy and average centipawn loss for both players, and explore any position with a live analysis panel. • Runs locally. Both engines run entirely inside your browser for the live, on board analysis. No position or move from that feature is ever sent to a server. HOW IT WORKS Open a game on Chess.com or Lichess. Click "Analyze Position" (or press Alt+A, Option+A on a Mac) to rate the top moves across the whole board. Click any piece to see all of its legal moves rated individually. Turn on Continuous Analysis for automatic updates after every move. After a Chess.com game ends, use "Analyze on StockFishy" for a full game review saved to your account. PRICING Free accounts get a daily limit of analyzed positions, enough for casual review. Paid plans raise that limit for players who want deeper or more frequent live analysis. Full game reviews are always free and unlimited on every plan. Current plans and pricing are listed at stockfishy.com/pricing, since they're subject to change. Works on Chess.com and Lichess.org. Built on Stockfish, the open source chess engine used by chess software worldwide.
