Environment Watermark
Overview
Marks test environment pages with a transparent watermark using a label and color chosen per environment.
Environment Watermark puts a clear, transparent watermark on pages that belong to your test, staging or local environments, so you always know where you are and never mistake a test system for production. FEATURES - Environments with their own label and color - for example a red TEST, an orange STAGE and a green LOCAL. - A transparent, repeated watermark over the whole page that never blocks clicks, text selection or scrolling. - An optional banner with the environment label at the top of the page. - URL rules per environment: simple wildcard patterns (*://app.example.com/*) or regular expressions (re:^https://.*-test\.). - Add the current site to an environment in one click from the toolbar popup. - A URL checker that shows which environment and rule match a given address. - Live preview of the watermark with adjustable opacity and size. - Works with single-page applications - the watermark follows URL changes without a reload. - Light and dark mode, English and Polish interface. DEFAULT RULES Out of the box the extension recognizes host names that contain a "test" or "stage"/"staging" segment (for example app-test.example.com or staging.example.com) and localhost. You can edit, reorder or remove every rule. PRIVACY The extension does not collect, send or sell any data. It has no analytics and makes no network requests. Your settings are stored only in Chrome storage and synchronized by Chrome between your own devices if Chrome sync is enabled.
