ENV Portal reads the address of the page you are on and opens the same page on every other environment you have configured: dev, staging, production, a branch deployment, localhost, the API response, the ticket it belongs to. ⚪️ The moment it pays for itself You are in a call, showing a feature on staging. Someone asks whether it works in production. Instead of editing the hostname by hand, you press the button and the production link is already there, pointing at the page on screen. ⚪️ What it opens ✅ Dev, staging and production ✅ Branch deployments and localhost, on any port ✅ API endpoints, CMS previews, cache-clear and webhook links ✅ The ticket the page belongs to The path, the locale segment and the query carry over. A link that needs a value nobody could resolve is left out rather than built broken. ⚪️ It fills in numbers the address does not carry A branch deployment usually needs a merge request number, and that number is often nowhere in the URL you are standing on. ENV Portal can: • pull it out of the address with a pattern you define • read it off the page in front of you, for example from Jira's development panel • ask you for it once, in the popup • remember the last one you gave, tied to the ticket it came from So a Jira ticket becomes the branch deployment for that ticket, in one click. ⚪️ Without opening the popup Right-click any page and pick an environment straight from the menu. One entry per environment you configured. ⚪️ One JSON file per project A workspace describes your hosts, locales and links once. It is plain JSON, so you can keep it in the repo, review it in a merge request and share it with the team. There is a written specification you can hand to an AI assistant and have it write the workspace for you. ⚪️ What it does not do No account and no sign-up. Nothing leaves your machine. The extension asks for no host permissions and cannot read your browsing history: it reads the address of the active tab at the moment you click the icon, and nothing else.
