Tasbih Counter
Overview
A calm, private tasbih counter with large transliteration, source-linked remembrances, and local-only counts.
Tasbih Counter is a simple counter for your dhikr that sits in Chrome's side panel, so you can count while you browse or work. Tap the big counter (or press Space) to count. You can set a goal for each round, or leave it with no limit. Each dhikr keeps its own count and its own goal, so switching between them doesn't lose your place. Made a mistake? Undo takes back the last tap. It comes with a list of remembrances you can search through. Each one has the Arabic, an easy-to-read transliteration, and the English meaning. Examples are Subhanallahi wa bihamdih, Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Ikhlas, the three Quls, the last two verses of Al-Baqarah, and the tasbih, tahmid and takbir after prayer. You can also type in your own phrase. Every remembrance links to the hadith it comes from, like Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim or Tirmidhi, so you can check the source yourself. I only show a number of repetitions when the narration actually gives one. If it doesn't, the counter is set to no limit. There's a Simple mode that keeps things minimal, and an Advanced mode that adds daily and all-time totals. It follows your system's light or dark theme, or you can pick one. Your counts are saved on your own computer in Chrome and are never sent anywhere. There's no account, no ads and no tracking. The hadith links only open if you click them. The extension only asks for two permissions: storage, to save your counts, and side panel, to show the counter.
