Chrome Original White Theme

Google disabled the effectiveness of the flags for "Chrome Refresh 2023" and "Chrome WebUI Refresh 2023". They're still in the chrome://flags/ list, but will probably be removed soon. This theme is effective, but if you click your Profile image next to the triple-dots in the upper-right, click the pencil [edit] icon, and select the second color-wheel with the white/gray/light-blue palette, you can almost get back to the pre-2023 refresh. Sadly can't remove the white bars anymore - after a recent chrome update in end of Mar 2024

This is great – I prefer a clean/white theme for Chrome (i.e. not the new default bubblegum aesthetic), and this theme delivered exactly what I needed

I don't even understand how this default theme was cut from Chrome altogether. This is the only viable light theme if you don't want to lose your sanity in lollipop land.

The default theme of the user should never ever be replaced after an update. Anyone who wants new themes knows where to find them. Changing themes without permission or user action is disruptive. Don't do it! And this theme restores sanity, so thank you to whoever put it here.
