View your Chrome browsing history with full URLs
To activate the extension after installing, please close any existing History tabs or restart chrome. Then, simply press Ctrl+H (or Cmd+Y on Mac) to use the new viewer. Enhanced History Viewer is a feature-rich, privacy-respecting extension that replaces Chrome's default history page (chrome://history/) with an intuitive and modern interface. It is fully open-source and local-first. Nothing changes about how you access your history — just press Ctrl+H (Cmd+Y on Mac), click the extension icon, or type chrome://history/ like you normally would. The extension loads automatically and displays the improved interface. Core Features: Full URL Display: See complete URL addresses instead of truncated domain names. Multi-Selection & Bulk Actions: Select multiple history items at once and delete them in parallel with a single click. Tabs from Other Devices: Easily browse and open tabs currently active on your synced phones, tablets, and computers from a dedicated sidebar view. Smart Device Indicators: Synced history items display a subtle device icon so you can see where they came from. Aesthetic UI: Responsive layout that matches native Chrome styling with full support for Light and Dark modes. Quick Context Actions: Right-click or use the item menu to quickly copy links, search for more pages from that site, or remove items. Privacy-First: No data collection, no trackers, and no external servers. Everything runs locally on your machine. The code is open-source and available on GitHub.
