ViperAI Shield is a digital-safety and trust platform being built to help protect people and families from deceptive and dangerous activity online. Browser Guard is the part of Viper that works inside Chrome: it helps keep you away from known scam and phishing websites while you browse. WHAT BROWSER GUARD DOES TODAY • Scam and phishing site protection When you open a website, Browser Guard asks Viper's service whether it should be blocked. Viper checks the site against its records of known scam and phishing sites, lookalikes of real companies' sites, and available domain-registration data. When Viper blocks a site, the tab goes to a clear warning page instead. On a first visit the check runs as the page starts to open; once a site has been blocked, later visits are stopped before it loads. • A warning you can act on The warning page names the blocked site and gives plain advice. "Go back to safety" takes you back. If you are certain a blocked site is legitimate, you can choose to continue, and Browser Guard will remember that choice. • Block AI apps (optional, off by default) One switch blocks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Character.AI and dozens of other AI chatbot, companion, homework and generator sites in this browser, which is useful on a computer children use. The AI-app list is built into the extension. It is not a locked parental control: anyone using this browser can switch it off. • Simple controls The toolbar popup lets you turn either feature on or off and counts the pages blocked on this computer. HOW TO USE IT Install it and scam and phishing protection is on. There is no account to create. Browse as usual; you will only see Viper when it stops something. PRIVACY To check a site, Browser Guard sends the address (URL) of the page you are opening to Viper's service over HTTPS. The full address is sent, including any path or query, so it can show which page you visited. Viper's record of the check keeps the site's hostname and the result, not the full address. The extension does not read page content, forms or keystrokes. Your data is not sold or used for advertising.
