Encore

Watch YouTube together: shared videos, Shorts, Mixes and playlists, with a synced queue and chat.

Meet your friends directly on YouTube. Encore connects a YouTube tab to a shared room, so you can watch, build a queue and chat together. Create your free personal room without signing in. Invite friends with a private code and give your room its own name and theme. Your personal room does not expire through inactivity. Optional Google sign-in keeps your room across devices. Everyone watches with their own YouTube account. Share videos, playlists and YouTube Mixes from your connected tab or a link. Use Interlude to play a discovery for everyone, then return to the previous video and position. Watch Shorts together: one person guides the feed and can hand over to someone else. Your queue is kept for when you return. Choose themes, icons and frames to make the room yours. The owner can choose who controls playback, close invitations and remove participants. Guests can add videos and chat. The panel is available in English and French, with a compact language switch. You can browse YouTube freely and resume sync when ready. Playback depends on each person’s connection, buffering and YouTube ads; timing can vary. Premium is coming soon, with more appearances and extra rooms. Sync, Shorts, chat and moderation remain free. Appearance previews are available. Encore processes shared video details, playback state, nicknames and chat to run the room. Optional sign-in and installation ownership are described in the privacy policy. You can download or delete your data in Account and data.
