Trust it - as Emsisoft product. Small/ negligible footprint (shift+esc). Extra layer along with smartscreen, etc. So keeping it. Checked it out on malware blocking testing sites. Thank you.

CONSTANTLY keeps popping up telling me to add an extension even if I turn off notifications it just keeps turning notifications back on.
