Printing an email usually shows only what's on screen — collapsed messages, "older messages" and the quoted history buried inside replies get lost. EmailThread expands every message in the conversation and turns the entire chain into one clean, print-ready page. WORKS WITH YOUR EMAIL • Gmail, Outlook on the web (Outlook.com and Microsoft 365) and Yahoo Mail • Any other webmail — select the email text and export • Saved email files (.eml, .mbox) from any service or desktop app — Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook for Mac, Gmail "Download message", Google Takeout ONE-CLICK FULL THREAD • Expands every message, including "older messages" and trimmed quoted text • Splits earlier replies quoted inside an email ("From / Sent / To" and "On … wrote:" blocks) into separate, numbered messages • Removes duplicate copies of the same message • Oldest-first or newest-first order RECIPIENT OPTIONS • Show all, or Strike off all — then add exceptions • Search people in the thread by name, email or @company, with autocomplete • Add a whole company at once ("Everyone @company.com") STRIKE STYLE • Heavy strike, Black bar, Label ("Person A"), Initials, or light strikethrough • Optionally keep the company domain visible — shows which side, not who HIDE SENSITIVE DATA • Automatically hide phone numbers, email addresses in message text, card and bank account numbers (keeps the last 4 digits) and ID numbers (SSN, passport, Aadhaar, PAN) • Hide any custom word or phrase everywhere in the chain — client names, project codes, amounts • Remove signatures, "Sent from my iPhone" lines and legal disclaimers • Click to redact: click any word in the preview to hide it • Hidden text is removed from the page — not just covered — so it can't be copied out of the PDF PREVIEW BEFORE YOU PRINT • Every change shows instantly, and a preview bar summarises exactly what will be hidden SAVE IN DIFFERENT FORMATS • Print, or Save as PDF • Download as HTML or TXT, or copy as plain text • Text size, page break per message, show/hide To lines and images PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Runs entirely in your browser — no servers, no accounts, no analytics • Nothing is uploaded or shared • Exports are kept locally and deleted automatically after 24 hours HOW TO USE 1. Open a conversation in Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo Mail. 2. Click "Export thread", press Alt+Shift+P, or click the EmailThread toolbar icon. 3. Choose your options, check the preview, then Print or Save as PDF. To use a saved email, click the icon → "Open email file", or drag .eml / .mbox files onto the EmailThread page.
