Email students from Google Classroom using Microsoft Outlook on the web.
Email My Students is designed for educators whose schools use Google Classroom for class management and Microsoft Outlook for email. Select one or more students in Google Classroom, choose the email option, and a new message opens in Outlook with the selected recipients ready. Add your subject, write your message, include any attachments, and send it through your school’s Outlook account. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a class in Google Classroom. 2. Select the student or students you want to email. 3. Choose the email option. 4. Write and send your message in Outlook on the web. DESIGNED FOR GOOGLE AND MICROSOFT SCHOOLS Email My Students is especially helpful for educators whose schools: • Use Google Classroom to manage classes and student rosters • Use Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft 365 for staff email • Do not provide teachers with Gmail inboxes • Need an easier way to contact selected students COMMON USES • Contact an individual student • Email several selected students • Follow up about missing assignments • Send reminders or class updates • Share additional instructions • Provide feedback or encouragement Email My Students prepares a new Outlook email with your selected recipients. It does not write messages or send emails automatically, so you remain in control of the content and when it is sent.
