WHAT IT DOES Email Elysium adds real nested folders, auto-sort rules, and a local analytics dashboard to Gmail — entirely on your device, using a read-only connection to your inbox. It lets us list and read your messages to sort and analyze them. Google's API rejects any write, send, delete, or label-change attempt outright — we could not modify your mail if we tried. • Storage — saves your folders, rules, and cached email metadata on your device, so sorting works offline and survives a browser restart. • Identity — used only to run Google's sign-in flow so the extension can get permission to read your inbox. • Alarms — wakes the extension every few mint does not run in the background otherwise. • Access to mail.google.com — required to inject the folder sidebar and pills directly into the Gmail page you're looking at. • Access to googleapis.com — the actual Gmail API endpoint the gmail.readonly scope talks to. • Access to extensionpay.com — only contacted if you click "Upgrade" or "Restore purchase" for Premium; a free install that never clicks those buttons makes zero requests to it. Handles payment, we never see card details. • Access to our backend (a Cloudflare Worker on Premium AND explicitly opt in to one of the two optional server-backed features (open tracking, meeting scheduling). Off by default; disabling a feature stops all associated traffic immediately.
