RevSec AI Guardian applies your organization's AI security policies to AI assistants used in the browser. It is deployed and configured by your IT team together with RevSec, your organization's AI security platform, and does nothing until your organization sets it up. On supported AI assistants (Claude at claude.ai, and GitHub Copilot's chat at github.com/copilot and on GitHub's home page), before a message is sent: • Sensitive data is stopped. Messages carrying personal data, health data, credentials or content your organization restricts are held and not sent. Where your organization allows it, you can send the message without the sensitive parts instead. • Company accounts only. If your organization allows only company accounts, a message from a personal account is not sent, and you are asked to switch to your company account. • Your organization's decisions about AI apps are applied. An app your organization has not approved, or has stopped, shows a notice instead of taking your message. Every stop is explained on the page in plain words, and your organization's security team sees the same record in RevSec. What the extension does not do: it does not read other websites, does not record your browsing, and on github.com it checks only Copilot's message box, never code, issues or pull requests. Your IT team sets the extension up through your organization's device management. If you see "Not set up", contact your IT team.
