Overview

Places new tabs at the top, while keeping child tabs next to their opener and inside the opener's tab group.

Reverse Vertical Tab Placement puts new tabs at the top of the unpinned tab section. This way, older tabs are at the bottom of vertical bar, while new tabs, and tabs opened from pinned tabs say at the top. Doing it this way avoids having to scroll up and down when switching between tabs opened from pinned tabs (like ChatGPT/Gmail/Calendar) and new tabs. Links opened in new tabs stay next to the tab that opened them, in opening order. So it keeps related tabs together. It also auto creates tab groups when you open bunch of links from a page in quick succession. It also (optionally) intelligently names that tab group using local Gemini nano model. Privacy The extension does not send this data to the developer or an external AI service. It does not read web page content and has no ads or analytics. Tab titles, URLs, and group information are processed locally for intelligent features. Chrome may download its local AI model when you choose to prepare it. The source tab stays pinned. • Duplicate tabs appear directly below their source tab. • Tabs move in place, without being closed or reloaded. Selected tab tools Use the toolbar popup or context menu to move selected tabs to the top, or copy their links as plain URLs, bullets, or Markdown with titles and group headings.
