StreamSave detects HLS, DASH and MP4 video playing in your current tab and saves it for personal, offline viewing — no separate app, no copy-pasting URLs. ▍How it works 1. Play the video you want to keep. 2. Open the StreamSave side panel. Detected media appears automatically. 3. Pick a quality and format, then download. ▍Features • Detects HLS (.m3u8), DASH (.mpd) and progressive MP4 streams • Full quality selection — no resolution cap, on any tier • Saves as .mp4 or .ts, with automatic TS→MP4 remuxing so files play in normal players • MP3 audio extraction • Subtitle download (.vtt / .srt) from HLS streams • Batch download — pick several videos on a page and save them one after another • Handles AES-128 encrypted HLS (standard transport encryption used by ordinary players) • Desktop notification when a download finishes (optional) • Light / dark / system theme, and 11 interface languages ▍Free and Pro Free: download at any resolution, with a 30-minute wait between downloads. You can shorten that wait by watching a short page, but you never have to. Pro: no waiting, plus batch download, MP3 conversion and subtitle download. A 72-hour trial of Pro is available. ▍What StreamSave does not do • It does not download DRM-protected video (Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay). Those streams cannot be saved and StreamSave will tell you so instead of failing silently. • It does not support YouTube. This is deliberate, not a limitation we plan to remove. • It does not upload your video, browsing history or downloaded files anywhere.
