Convert a text-based PDF into an editable Markdown draft on your own device. Open the extension, select the pages you need, and review the result before copying it or downloading an .md file. Your edits are included in the saved output. PDFusta opens in a separate tab so you can work with a larger preview. It can identify headings, basic lists and clear column layouts, and optionally remove repeated headers and footers. Check the result against the source when the document has a complex layout. The PDF engine, worker, fonts and character maps are included in the extension. Conversion works offline. No file upload, account, analytics or website access permissions are required. Only your interface language preference is stored. Save your draft before closing the tab. Limits: 25 MB and 100 pages. This version reads an existing text layer; it does not provide OCR, rebuild tables, preserve pictures or transfer mathematical notation and link targets. PDFs with unusual character encoding, including some Arabic ligatures, may need manual correction. Interface languages: English, Turkish, Arabic, Indonesian, Romanian and Korean.
