md-reader is a clean, read-only Markdown reader that lives in a browser tab. Click the toolbar icon, then open a Markdown file or a whole folder — or just drag one in. • Clean, book-like rendering with a light theme and a dark theme • Folder sidebar with a file tree, plus an outline of the current document's headings • Code highlighting, tables, footnotes, task lists and front matter • Math (KaTeX) with equation numbers, and Mermaid diagrams • Live reload: the page updates when the file changes on disk • Search in document, zoom, print, and recent files • Works fully offline. Your files never leave your computer — nothing is uploaded, no account, no tracking. Supports .md, .markdown and .txt files.
