)Overview
Replace emojis with Twitter emojis in your browser
Twemoji Everywhere replaces the emoji on every website with Twitter's emoji (Twemoji), so they look the same on every site and every device. Features • Works on every website, including chat apps, social feeds and text you type in editors • Emoji you type in text fields and editors show as Twemoji too, as you type • Turn it on or off for the site you're on with a single switch • Choose where it runs: all sites except the ones you list, or only the sites you list • Keep chosen emoji in your system's style with the emoji blacklist • Send feedback from the popup, and see what's new in each version • Light and dark mode that follows your system • Lightweight: emoji are converted as the page loads and as new content appears, without slowing pages down Currently supports Twemoji 14.0.2. Requires Chrome 111 or later. -- V 3.1.0 -- • Emoji you type in text fields, text areas and rich text editors now show as Twemoji too, without changing the text itself. Keycaps (1️⃣, #️⃣) keep the system style • New feedback form in the popup: share an idea or report a bug. It sends only your message, an email if you add one, the extension version and your language • New "What's new" page with the full changelog • Fixed the caret jumping while typing a post on X (Twitter), and the emoji picker preview not following the selected emoji • Fixed emoji in text that a page updates in place (as React apps do) getting stuck on the first emoji shown -- V 3.0.0 -- A rewrite of the extension. Your settings carry over. • Faster: pages with lots of text and busy chat apps are converted several times faster than before • Emoji now convert in chat apps and live-updating pages, and as you type • Redesigned popup with a switch for the current site and light/dark mode • Emoji blacklist shown as tags you can remove with one click • Site lists are more precise: "example.com" now covers example.com and its subdomains, but no longer unrelated sites like "badexample.com" • When "Only listed sites" is selected and the list is empty, emoji are no longer replaced anywhere • Fixed the text cursor jumping while typing next to emoji -- V 2.0.0 -- Updated to Manifest V3 Updated to Twemoji 14 -- V 1.1.2 -- Fix for blacklist not working for some emojis -- V 1.1.1 -- Fixed an issue with emoji blacklist that was preventing the extension from working properly. Added text to invite user to reload any active page to take into account newly added emoji to the blacklist. -- V 1.1.0 -- Added Emoji blacklist that prevents Twemoji Everywhere from parsing emojis added to that list.
