Picture in Picture – Floating Video Player
Overview
Pop out any video into a floating, resizable, always-on-top Picture in Picture player. YouTube, Netflix, Twitch & more. No tracking.
Watch any video in a floating Picture in Picture window while you work, browse or chat. Click the toolbar icon (or press Alt+P) and the best video on the page pops out into a floating player that stays on top of other windows, can be dragged and resized, and keeps playing even when Chrome is minimized. WHAT YOU GET • One-click or Alt+P Picture in Picture for YouTube, Netflix, Twitch, Vimeo, Prime Video, news sites, course platforms and any HTML5 video • Smart video detection: picks the playing video, lists every video on the page, and finds videos inside embedded players • Works on sites that disable Picture in Picture • Custom controls mode (beta): seek bar, back/forward 10s, speed up to 2x, loop, volume and keyboard shortcuts • Optional hover button on videos and optional auto Picture in Picture when you switch tabs • Right-click any video to pop it out PRIVATE BY DESIGN No analytics, no accounts, no ads, no remote code, and it never uses your bandwidth or IP address. Site-wide access is optional and only requested if you turn on the hover button or auto Picture in Picture. FAQ Does it work when Chrome is minimized? Yes. The floating window is separate from the browser window. Can I resize it? Yes, drag the edges of the window. Does it work on Netflix and other DRM sites? Native mode uses Chrome's own player, so yes in most cases. Some sites block it and we cannot override that.
