We require the following permissions solely to perform the described functionality: => Host Permissions (*://*.pinterest.com/*, *://*.pinimg.com/*): This is required to inject the selection checkboxes (content.css and content.js) onto Pinterest pages and to analyze the pin elements to extract the high-resolution source URL for the image. => downloads: This permission is strictly necessary to use the chrome.downloads.download API function, which handles the secure, background downloading of the high-resolution image or video URLs to your local machine. => storage: This is used only to store local preferences (such as the last active state) and manage the list of selected pins locally before initiating the download.
