Overview

Eisenhower matrix overlay for tasks.google.com — no OAuth, no API. ⏰ marks urgent, ❗ marks important.

A 2×2 Eisenhower matrix overlay for tasks.google.com. Drag any task between four quadrants and the extension rewrites the underlying Google Tasks title — with a trailing ⏰ (urgent) or ❗ (important) marker — so the change syncs everywhere: mobile, the Gmail/Calendar side panels, every device you're signed into. ▍ Quadrants • Q1 — Do now (urgent + important) • Q2 — Schedule (important, not urgent) • Q3 — Delegate (urgent, not important) • Q4 — Eliminate (neither) ▍ No OAuth, no servers, no account Most matrix tools want full OAuth access to your tasks or lock you into a separate app. This one doesn't. It just rearranges the page you already use — entirely client-side, with zero network calls of its own. ▍ Markers Priority lives in the task title itself, so it survives across every Google Tasks client: • ⏰ — urgent • ❗ — important • ⏰❗ — both • (none) — Q4 Drag a card and the title rewrites for you. Or type the markers yourself. ▍ Features • Drag-and-drop reassignment with optimistic UI • Click a card to edit the title inline • Show / hide completed tasks • Toolbar button + Alt+Shift+E to toggle the matrix • Subtasks, recurring tasks, and stars all supported ▍ Privacy No data collection, no telemetry, no remote requests. The only thing stored locally is your enabled toggle and a short-lived fallback if a drag fails to sync. ▍ Limitations Works on tasks.google.com only — not the Gmail/Calendar Tasks side panels. Markers are visible in your task titles in every Google client; that's the trade for skipping OAuth.
