Preview the list before you delete. Clean up your own ChatGPT web history by last update, by keyword, or by both. Search titles alone or include the visible messages in the current conversation branch. The cutoff is midnight at the start of the selected date in your local time zone. Pinned, archived and project chats are excluded from manual cleanup unless you include them. An optional retention rule checks regular chats while your browser is running and signed in. Updating a chat restarts its timer. Preview uses your signed-in ChatGPT session to read titles and update times. Message search also reads message text. Chat information goes only between your browser and ChatGPT, never to the developer. Confirmed deletion is permanent. Keep the extension page open during manual deletion.
