MarkCraft turns any Markdown file into a polished document, right inside Chrome — then lets you edit, review, present and export it. No account, no upload, no telemetry: everything runs on your machine. READ • Opens .md / .markdown / .mdx files from your disk or from the web (raw files on GitHub, docs sites, anywhere) • GitHub Flavored Markdown, tables, task lists, footnotes, alerts, front matter • Mermaid, Graphviz, WaveDrom and KaTeX math rendered inline • Code with 12 syntax themes, file names on code blocks, one-click copy • Outline with scroll-spy and search, find-in-page with regex, image lightbox, reading progress • Light, dark and sepia themes; centered or full-width layout; RTL aware EDIT • Switch between reading, WYSIWYG and source mode with one shortcut • Live preview of diagrams and math while you type • Save straight back to the file with ⌘S • Folder browser with sorting, bookmarks and full-text search; auto-reload with a +/- diff you can accept or dismiss • Drag & drop, new documents, recent files in the toolbar popup REVIEW • Highlight in four colors, underline and comment on any passage • Annotations persist across reloads and appear in print and exports • Turn comments into a prompt, or hand the document to an AI agent — using your own OpenAI- or Anthropic-format provider — and review the diff before applying PRESENT & EXPORT • Presentation mode from plain --- separators: themes, speaker notes, autoplay, keyboard and touch • Interactive mind map from your headings • Export to Word (.docx), HTML or print/PDF with diagrams and math intact • Copy as rich text or Markdown PRIVACY MarkCraft has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your documents stay on your computer unless you use one of two optional features you set up yourself: the AI agent sends the document to the AI provider you configure (with your own API key, kept only on your device), and PlantUML rendering is off until you explicitly allow it.
