Registers this browser session with the local relay and injects scanned barcodes into the focused field.

EHR Scanning Relay Bridge is an Edge extension that turns any hospital workstation into a virtual barcode scanner. It runs only on the hospital's EHR web app, using a content script to detect the focused input field and type scanned barcode data into it — replacing the physical USB Zebra scanner. In the background, a service worker keeps a live WebSocket connection open to your Fly.io relay server, waiting for scans sent from the iPhone app. It uses Azure AD SSO to identify which hospital user session it belongs to, so a scan from a specific nurse's iPhone gets routed to that same nurse's EHR session — even inside the VDI environment. IT admins can push its configuration (relay address, tenant settings) automatically via enterprise policy when it's baked into the VDI golden image, so nothing needs manual setup per user.
