New Tab Page Icons

Randomly the 'New Tab Page' will have the shortcut icon's path broken. The stock Facebook icon will display correctly, but any custom shortcuts or generated shortcuts like Gmail will show a broken icon in the top left. The Icon Source will be empty for all sites but the 'dropdown' for icon source will still contain the most recent paths so I can regenerate them. Chrome is up to date. Unsure if its an app problem or PC problem. I have reset Chrome, deleted and reinstalled the App and same symptons. It can go days before it deletes the icon paths. Same in Incogento mode.

Colors Are Still A Little Washed Out.

There is still a gray overlay across the background. Other than that the new update fixed the default settings and background problem, great work, and thank you very much!!! :)

Why limit the "new app" to 7x3?

An arbitrary limit that seems useless. There is room on the page so why cant i use it and moving to page 2 requires keyboard input. Changing icon size would also not be too crazy. I like firefoxes implementation a lot more.

Is there any help available?

Given that the settings can no longer be changed (and saved) the browser is now forced to have nature pix, a search bar, notifications ticked, and dark, dingy colors and poor resolution, it would be nice if this contact page contained an instruction as to how to obtain the useable version of the extension that we used for several years without major difficulties. For me the extension was very reliable as a means to putting my main targets in rows across the front of the home pages. I don't know how that version was removed and this broken one replaced it without our requesting an update, etc. Is that related to the widget that we used to be able to set with a time interval in the upper area of the settings?
I've removed the extension from Chrome in hopes of clearing all this bad code from the browser. Is there any way to obtain the extension as it was, without it forcing broken updates?

Settings revert to the developer's choices, not mine, with every new tab

I have used this for years: set up with a plain color (from a .jpg) background, no search bar, all Appearance options set to my choices. Now as of today, EVERY new tab I open opens with ALL of those choices reverted to the default, forcing me to close the Google Calendar reference, to restore my color background from those extremely busy "nature" photos, and all of the Appearance and Notification tick boxes that I ticked EMPTY now have a check mark in them again. Disastrous! Is this permanent, or will we be allowed to choose our own settings?

Suddenly changed all its settings out of nowhere

Something has gone terribly wrong with this extension. Out of the blue, it has reverted to forcing some nature photo onto the main screen and removed all of my settings with my choices of what appears on the screens. Cluttered with bookmarks and imposing Google calendar notifications on user; lost all of my settings and recently "saved" websites. How can this happen without my touching a thing in the settings? How can we defend against this? Help please!

Why does my background keep resetting to the default one

Recently, All of my settings just disappeared and I can't either import or cover the setting by manually. Once I open a new tab, these setting previously are all gone. That is too annoying, can you take a look what's happening please?
(BTW, I thought night mode isn't a great idea : ( )
