Worked perfectly for me. It may not work in all cases because there is more than one way to prevent text selection on a webpage.

Extension does what advertised, though requires a page refresh for it to work which in some cases make it not viable for me. Still it does what it says it does, 5 stars if Mr J-26 adds an update removing the need to refresh the page. Though this seems unlikely as the developer last updated in 2019.
