Raccoon tells you what deals a SaaS tool is actually running — while you are looking at its pricing page. WHAT YOU GET • A small card on the pricing page of the SaaS tools in our catalog (963 sites today): whether that tool has a live lifetime deal, a real discount, or what its price has been over the past weeks. • One click to open the live deal at the marketplace that sells it — no signup with us, no coupon hunting across a dozen tabs. • A popup with search across the whole catalog, a watchlist for tools you are waiting on, and the most recent deals we have recorded. • Quiet mode: switch the cards off and keep only a small red dot on the toolbar icon. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • It does not collect your browsing history. There is no account, no analytics SDK, no remote logging. • It does not touch other extensions' affiliate cookies, and it never modifies the page you are reading beyond rendering its own card in an isolated container. • It does not add anything to a cart or click on your behalf. You always land on the vendor's own page and decide there. HOW IT WORKS Deals are crawled from public lifetime-deal marketplaces and stored in our own public database. The extension downloads a compact index of that data every six hours and keeps it in local storage. When you open a pricing page for a product in the index, it looks the hostname up locally and renders the card. Nothing about your visit is sent anywhere. PRICE HISTORY We record public list prices for a set of SaaS products. When we have history for the tool you are viewing, the card tells you whether the current price is a genuine discount or the usual number dressed up as one. AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE Raccoon is free. Some links to deals are affiliate links: if you buy through one, the marketplace pays us a commission and you pay exactly the same price. This is printed on every card we render.
