No account is needed, and the extension does not upload your documents. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the extension icon to open the converter. 2. Choose or drag in a PDF from your computer. 3. Convert it to Markdown. 4. Review or edit the output, then copy it or download a .md file. LIMITATIONS Works with PDFs that contain selectable text. Scanned, encrypted, or damaged PDFs may not convert. Complex layouts may need manual editing. For scanned PDFs, open the optional OCR link to pdf-to-md.app. OCR is a separate website service and may require an account and payment. Files are never sent there automatically.
