)Overview
Tab tracking extension. Tab Tracker is counts how many chrome browser and tabs have been opened and generate and show visit count.
Tab Tracker shows where your time in Chrome goes. Open the popup for today: active time, tabs opened, windows opened, and visits, plus the site you are on right now. Hosts are listed with a favicon, a visit count, and time spent. A badge on the toolbar shows today’s visit total. Time is counted only while a page is the active tab and Chrome is in use. It pauses when you go idle. Work and Reading Split the day into Work, Reading, and Other. A starter list labels common sites (GitHub and Slack as work, MDN and YouTube as reading). Change any label, add your own, or clear one so it counts as Other. History Each day rolls over at local midnight. The options page keeps today plus up to 30 earlier days, with all-time and last-7-day totals: time, tabs, windows, visits, hosts, and the peak number of tabs open at once. Sort the host list by name, visits, or time. Delete one site from a day, or delete the day. Privacy Only the hostname is stored, not the full address or page title. Blacklist a site, or choose Don’t save on the current page, and it is left out. Everything stays in local storage on this browser. Nothing is uploaded. Export today, your archive, and all-time totals as JSON whenever you want a copy.
