AI Tell Checker
Overview
Spots em dashes, stock AI phrases and emoji bullets as you write. Checks Gmail and LinkedIn drafts before you send. Runs locally.
People have learned to spot the habits of AI-written text in a second: em dashes everywhere, "delve", "game-changer", "let's dive in", rocket emoji bullets, a wall of hashtags at the end. AI Tell Checker puts a small badge on any text box you type in. The number on it is how many of those habits it found. Click it to see the list and a Human score out of 100, and remove em dashes with one click. It checks about 100 stock phrases, em and en dashes, the "it's not just X, it's Y" formula, emoji and arrow bullets, hashtag walls and flat sentence rhythm. Pro ($5 a month) adds a check when you press Send in Gmail or Post on LinkedIn, so a draft full of AI habits gets flagged before it goes out, plus plain-word swaps for common stock phrases. The free version keeps the badge, the score and the dash fix. Everything runs on your computer. Your text is never uploaded, and there is no account or tracking. The only network call is to Lemon Squeezy to check a Pro license key, if you enter one. You can turn the badge off for any site from the panel. It is a style checker, not a tool for getting past AI detectors.
