Enhance YouTube and YouTube Music Picture-in-Picture with better playback controls.

FloatPlay upgrades YouTube and YouTube Music Picture-in-Picture with a more complete floating media player for Google Chrome. Keep videos and music accessible while you browse, work, study, or use other apps — with playback controls available directly from the FloatPlay mini player. What you can do with FloatPlay: • Play and pause without returning to the original tab. • Skip backward or forward with customizable seek intervals. • Scrub through playback using an interactive timeline. • Switch the time display between elapsed and remaining time. • Control volume, mute audio, and adjust volume with the mouse wheel. • Change playback speed from 0.25x to 2x. • Use keyboard shortcuts for playback, seeking, volume, mute, and playback speed. • Automatically hide playback controls while watching and choose how quickly they disappear. • Customize seek intervals, volume steps, control visibility, and other playback preferences from the FloatPlay settings page. • Use Audio-only mode when you want to keep listening without displaying the video. • Optionally click the video inside FloatPlay to play or pause. • On YouTube Music, navigate between previous and next tracks directly from the mini player. FloatPlay integrates directly with supported YouTube and YouTube Music pages. Use the FloatPlay button on the active player to open the enhanced Picture-in-Picture experience. YouTube Music opens in Audio-only mode and includes controls designed for music playback, including current-track timeline, seeking, and previous/next track navigation. FloatPlay is built as a lightweight, local-first Chrome extension. It does not require a FloatPlay account and does not include analytics, advertising, or a FloatPlay backend.
