A lightweight translation extension for webpages, selected text, images, and YouTube or X video subtitles.

Wujie Translate is a lightweight translation extension for understanding foreign-language content on webpages and in videos. Main features: - Translate the current webpage - Translate selected text - Translate text inside an image on demand - Translate existing subtitles on YouTube and X - Use Wujie Translate service or Chrome's on-device translation when available Image translation runs only after the user selects an image or uses the image context-menu command. OCR is performed locally in the browser. The OCR model is downloaded only after the user agrees and is then cached on the device. Images are not uploaded for OCR. Translation runs only when the user triggers a translation feature or enables subtitle translation.
