eduTinker Device Guard is an enterprise extension designed for schools and institutions using the eduTinker platform. The extension generates a secure, random device token that represents an authorized browser instance. This token is attached as a custom HTTP request header when communicating with eduTinker web applications and backend services. Schools use this mechanism to enforce device-level access control, ensuring that staff members can access sensitive modules only from approved computers. The extension does not track browsing activity, does not read page content, and does not collect personal user information. The device token is stored locally in the browser and is transmitted only to eduTinker-owned services for authorization purposes.
