EduSquares Exam Lockdown

Exam companion for EduSquares online tests: blocks extra tabs and other extensions during a proctored exam. Inert otherwise.

Companion extension for schools and colleges running proctored online exams on the EduSquares learning platform. Students install it once; it does nothing at all until an EduSquares exam page starts an exam that requires it. While an exam is running, it: • closes any newly opened tab and reports it to the exam page • detects a second display being connected • lists other enabled extensions so the exam page can require them to be turned off before the exam starts (they are re-enabled when the exam ends, where the browser permits) It never collects, stores, or transmits any data to any server. All reporting happens locally to the exam page open in the same browser, which belongs to the student's own institution.
