Edge Tab Rail
Overview
Show a vertical rail of open tabs in the Chrome side panel for faster switching and cleanup.
Edge Tab Rail is a lightweight Chrome extension that shows a vertical list of open tabs in the Chrome side panel. It is designed for users who want a clear edge view of every tab in the current window so they can switch, scan, and close pages without relying only on the top tab strip. When opened, the side panel displays each tab in a compact vertical rail with title, domain, and favicon. Users can filter the list, jump to any tab with one click, close tabs directly from the rail, and keep an eye on how many pages are currently open. The list updates as tabs are created, closed, moved, or activated, helping users stay oriented in busy browsing sessions. Edge Tab Rail uses only the minimum permissions needed to display and manage tabs in the Chrome side panel. It does not create accounts, collect browsing data for advertising, run remote tracking, or send tab information to external servers. Its purpose is to make tab navigation clearer by placing a vertical tab list along the side of the browser.
