VideoTextCraft — YouTube subtitles

Open YouTube in VideoTextCraft: get existing subtitles, work with the text and create AI notes.

Open a YouTube video in VideoTextCraft and turn existing subtitles into material you can work with: read, find key passages, copy and export text, and create AI notes. The extension gets you started without copying a link. On a video page, press VideoTextCraft in the browser toolbar. For a video link, right-click and choose “Open video in VideoTextCraft — subtitles”. The link fills in an editable form on the service. You choose when to fetch subtitles and start processing. What you can do in VideoTextCraft: • Get existing YouTube subtitles when a track is available. • Read with timestamps, search and return to relevant passages. • Copy and export the source text. • Create AI summaries, extract the main ideas and reshape a transcript. • Work with your own transcript: paste text or open TXT, SRT and VTT files. The extension opens the website by default. If you have installed the VideoTextCraft web app, you can choose to open it instead in extension settings. Your browser or Windows may ask you to confirm the launch. Install the extension, open a YouTube video and start working with subtitles in VideoTextCraft.
