eCW Workflow Recorder
Overview
Records the structure of eCW workflows - field identity and value shape - so internal automation can be written from evidence.
An internal tool for MomDoc, published unlisted. It is not intended for, or usable by, anyone outside our workforce. When a staff member presses Start, the extension records the STRUCTURE of the eClinicalWorks screens they work through: what the fields are called, what shape their values take, which control was clicked, what the click caused, and how long it took. That record is sent to a server MomDoc runs on its own network, where it is used to build and correct our internal automation. The default mode records field identity and value shape only. A date of birth is recorded as 99/99/9999. Interface vocabulary - button text, column headers, dropdown option lists - is kept verbatim because it is application chrome, not record content. Password fields are excluded unconditionally, in every mode. Nothing is recorded outside eClinicalWorks (*.ecwcloud.com). Nothing is recorded unless a recording has been explicitly started. The side panel shows every captured event live, as it happens, so the person recording can see exactly what is taken. There is no analytics, no telemetry, and no third-party service of any kind.
