Orbit is a personal contact manager: your phone book, your LinkedIn connections and your Instagram follows as one list of real people, on a map. This extension is how LinkedIn gets into Orbit. What it does • Reads your LinkedIn connections list — name, profile, headline — the way LinkedIn's own "My network" page does. • Then, a few profiles a day at a pace you choose (40 by default), reads each connection's city, headline, current company and, once, their career history — so your contacts stay current and appear on Orbit's map. • Optional and off by default: your Instagram following and followers, once a week. How it works • It runs in your own Chrome with your own LinkedIn login. Your passwords never leave your browser. • Everything it reads goes only to your own Orbit account (orbit.frilabs.dev). Nothing is sold, shared or used for ads. • You connect it to your account with one click on orbit.frilabs.dev, and can stop it any time by removing it. You need an Orbit account (sign in with Google at orbit.frilabs.dev). Please note: reading LinkedIn automatically is not covered by LinkedIn's terms; LinkedIn can restrict accounts that do it. Orbit starts at a careful pace (40 profiles a day; 10 is the most careful setting) and asks you to accept this risk before connecting.
