Overview

Plan an impossible heist with echoes of your own actions. A turn-based time-loop puzzle game, played entirely offline.

One operator. Three echoes. One way out. ECHO VAULT is a turn-based puzzle game where your past actions become your next teammates. Record a sequence of moves, rewind the room and let an echo perform that sequence while you take a different route. Coordinate pressure plates, doors, power consoles and patrol timing to reach the prism and escape. The game contains 24 hand-authored vaults across four acts. Early rooms introduce movement and doors; later rooms combine shared circuits, several pressure plates, turning cameras and investigating wardens. Advanced vaults allow up to three echoes. Each is a replay of your commands, not a character that receives a secret route or ignores the room’s rules. A blocked move still consumes a beat. Doors use their state at the start of the beat. Finished echoes hold their final positions. These visible, consistent rules let you compose a plan and understand where it diverged. Echoes can help you, but they can also enter a sightline and trigger an alarm. Nothing advances until you act. Move with the arrows or WASD, wait with Space, and interact with E. Use a console to change camera power, or create a noise that draws a warden away from its patrol. The live operator must collect the prism and reach the marked exit. The score beneath the room shows the recorded actions of each echo alongside your current loop. Undo restores the previous logical beat, including devices, guards and the prism. Restart the current loop, remove the latest echo, or inspect a read-only replay without changing your saved plan. Progressive hints help explain the room without automatically solving it. Complete a vault to save its result, then try for a more economical solution. Ratings reward fewer total recorded commands across all echoes and the final loop. Each loop is limited to 80 commands, keeping the score compact and understandable. ECHO VAULT uses a cut-paper visual language, quiet optional sound and adjustable ambient motion. It can be played in its toolbar popup or its own larger tab. Progress, command tapes and preferences are stored locally; JSON export, validated import and confirmed deletion are available in Local data & settings. There is no account, advertising, analytics, multiplayer server or remote game code. The extension requests no permissions and does not inspect websites. “Recording” means the small set of game commands you deliberately enter in the vault. It does not mean recording your microphone, screen, browser activity or keystrokes outside the game.
