ECCC Inline PDFs
Overview
Rewrites Content-Disposition headers on ECCC report downloads so PDFs open in the browser viewer instead of downloading.
ECCC Inline PDFs makes papers on the Electronic Colloquium on Computational Complexity (eccc.weizmann.ac.il) open directly in your browser's PDF viewer, instead of being forced into your Downloads folder. ECCC serves its report PDFs with a header that instructs browsers to download the file, even when you've configured your browser to display PDFs. This extension rewrites that header for ECCC report download URLs — and nothing else — so clicking a paper link shows it in a tab, just like on arXiv. Features: • Works on report PDFs and their revisions • No content scripts: no code runs on any web page • No data collection of any kind • Single static rule scoped to one domain, using Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API Tip: make sure your browser is set to display PDFs (Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → PDF documents → "Open PDFs in browser").
