Free editing works best on screenshots and simple backgrounds. It replaces the old text area with a sampled flat color. Font suggestions are approximate; you can choose another font and correct any recognition errors. TEXTIMAGEEDIT PRO — OPTIONAL AI EDITING Choose Pro to use your TextImageEdit website session and credit balance. Enter the original and replacement wording, then choose Generate. One edit uses one credit. If you need more credits, the extension opens the website purchase flow and keeps your input for your return. Login or payment never starts a generation automatically. AI results are available through the existing website account and history. GETTING STARTED 1. Open the side panel and choose an image, or use the image right-click menu. 2. Keep Free selected, click a text box and type your replacement. 3. Download the edited image. For AI processing, choose TextImageEdit Pro and sign in. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS Free OCR, font matching and editing run locally using software and fonts bundled with the extension. Your image is sent to TextImageEdit for AI processing only when you choose Generate in Pro. Loading a webpage image may ask for permission to access that image host. The extension does not scan unrelated pages or read your website cookies.
