Polysing

Synced, romanized lyrics for YouTube Music and Spotify. Sing along in Japanese, Korean, Chinese and more, even if you can't read it.

Polysing shows the lyrics of the song you're playing on YouTube Music or Spotify, in time with the music, with a romanized line under each original one. Open it in Chrome's side panel or in its own window. Love a J-pop, K-pop or C-pop song but can't read the script? Polysing shows how each line is pronounced, so you can sing along, and helps you practise the parts you keep tripping over. • Synced lyrics: the current line is highlighted as the song plays • Romanization for Japanese, Korean, Chinese (pinyin) and Russian, with a best-effort fallback for some other scripts • Click a line to jump to it • Practice mode: pick a few lines and loop them until you've got them • Pronunciation practice: hear a line read slowly, then say it and see which words came through right, line by line or for the whole section • Play/pause, next and previous buttons, so you don't have to switch tabs • Timing offset if a song's lyrics run slightly early or late • Works with several music tabs open; pick which one to follow How to use: open YouTube Music or Spotify in Chrome, play a song, click the Polysing icon in the toolbar and choose the side panel or a pop-out window. Lyrics come from LRCLIB (lrclib.net), a free, community-maintained lyrics database. Not every song has lyrics there, and some have only unsynced lyrics. Polysing has no accounts, ads or tracking. It reads the song title, artist and length from the music page to look up lyrics. The microphone is only used for pronunciation practice, and only if you allow it.
