Capture a visible tab screenshot or start a tab, desktop or camera recording, annotate evidence and send it to a GoodQA issue or guided test step. Use the Missions/Issues sidebar for assigned testing, verdicts, notes and issue capture. Recording starts when you choose it; meeting detection offers recording instead of starting silently. Your browser asks for relevant camera/microphone or screen selection permissions. Pause, Stop and discard remain local recorder controls. The extension stores its own signed-in session and settings locally. The report composer can include the active page URL, browser/OS, selected console output, screenshots and recordings. Console capture scripts buffer output on HTTP(S) pages before the composer is opened; review what you share. Captures and console messages can include personal or sensitive content. Approximate location and raw IP are separate optional grants; when either is enabled, ipapi.co receives your source IP for the lookup. With both off, there is no lookup. Your configured GoodQA service receives submitted reports and account requests; media uploads use signed storage URLs supplied by that service. Team access and server retention follow that service's policies. Self-hosted API URLs are configurable. The recorder does not provide remote agent browser or OS control.
