eBay Coin Seller Cautionlist

Community-curated cautionlist of eBay sellers flagged for listing suspicious coins. Flags sellers on eBay listings.

A curated list resides at the website groovycoins.com (maintained by the developer of this plug-in). https://groovycoins.com/cautionlist-view This list will be populated by members of the coin collecting community who submit eBay listings (and the corresponding seller names), and each submission will be reviewed by expert moderators prior to inclusion in the list. The browser will refresh the list once an hour from the server. When browsing an eBay item (specific to "ebay.com" and therefore excluding eBay sites from other countries with other domain names), the plug-in will check to see if this seller has been flagged for selling a suspected problem/fake coin. If the seller's name is in the list, the plug-in will display a "Flagged" sign in red next to the seller's name. This should encourage users to be very careful when purchasing from the seller. List items can be appealed by the sellers and will be retracted if proof of authenticity is provided. In addition, list items expire in one year. A seller whose last item is successfully appealed or aged off will no longer invoke the flag for users browsing that seller's eBay listings.
