Eatr Price Check
Overview
Remembers every Sysco Shop, Sysco To Go and US Foods price you see and shows how it has changed since last time.
Know when your food prices go up, and who sells it cheaper, before you place the order. Eatr Price Check runs quietly while you shop on Sysco Shop, US Foods and Sysco To Go. Every price you see gets saved. Next time you see that item, a small badge shows whether the price went up or down since last time, and by how much. WHAT IT DOES • Price badges: on search results, order guides, lists and product pages, each price gets a badge showing the change since you last saw it. • Price history chart: every product page gets a chart of that item's price over time, with what you were quoted and what you actually paid. • Compare vendors: link an item to one of your Eatr ingredients, and its product page shows what the same ingredient costs at your other vendors. Results are sorted cheapest first and compared per lb, gallon or each, so different case sizes compare fairly. • Sold-by-weight items: meat and other items sold by weight are tracked per lb, so you can compare them across vendors. • Import your past orders: on Sysco Shop and US Foods, one click on your order history scans your delivered orders, so you get months of price history on day one. It only reads delivered orders and never touches your open cart. Imported orders are tagged so you can see what's already been scanned. • Biggest changes: the toolbar popup lists the items whose prices moved the most, across all your vendors. • Works with Eatr: if you cost your recipes in Eatr, each product page shows which of your dishes use that item, so you can see right away which menu prices a price hike affects. WHY USE IT Food costs creep up a few cents at a time, and a distributor's site only shows you today's price. Price Check remembers the old prices for you and puts your vendors side by side. You can catch increases, push back on your rep, or buy from whoever is cheaper this week before your margins shrink. PRIVACY • It only runs on shop.sysco.com, order.usfoods.com and syscotogo.com. • Your prices are saved to your own Eatr account. Nobody else can see them. • When you sign up, there's an optional, unticked box that lets Eatr combine your prices anonymously with other restaurants' prices to spot trends. Your own prices are never shown to anyone. You need a free Eatr account to use it. Sign up from the extension popup. Eatr Price Check is made by Eatr. Sysco and Sysco To Go are trademarks of Sysco Corporation. US Foods is a trademark of US Foods, Inc. This extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sysco or US Foods. --- What changed: - New vendors: US Foods and Sysco To Go are added throughout, including the opening line and the list of sites it runs on. - New sections: "Compare vendors" and "Sold-by-weight items". - Order import: it now says it works on Sysco Shop and US Foods only, since Sysco To Go doesn't have it yet.
