EasyTheraNotes Chrome Companion is the official Chrome extension for licensed mental health providers who use EasyTheraNotes (easytheranotes.com) to document client sessions. WHAT IT DOES Open the extension popup in any tab, sign in once with your EasyTheraNotes credentials, and instantly see your most recent clinical notes. Then: • Copy the full note to your clipboard with one click • Download the note as an editable Word (.docx) document • See today's appointments at a glance • Search your notes by patient label or content • Jump back to the main app for full documentation features Paste the content directly into your EHR (Valant, TheraNest, SimplePractice, custom systems) without re-typing. WHO IT'S FOR Licensed mental health providers — LCSWs, LPCs, LMFTs, psychologists, QMHPs, peer providers — who already have an active EasyTheraNotes account. The extension does not work without an account; it is a productivity layer on top of the main app. WHAT IT SUPPORTS • H2014 Skills Training notes (Texas Medicaid, 26 TAC 306.319 compliant) • SOAP, TCM, Psychology, PSR Group notes • Custom internal labels (e.g., "Client A", "Tuesday session") • Any EHR — the extension never touches the EHR's DOM; you copy and paste manually HIPAA & PRIVACY EasyTheraNotes operates under a Business Associate Agreement with Amazon Web Services. All Protected Health Information (PHI) is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Authentication tokens are stored only on your local device. The extension does not transmit, sell, or share your data with anyone except your own EasyTheraNotes backend.
