# EasyFRS 2.0 Win the FRS war with EasyFRS. EasyFRS transforms the classic ITS Surabaya FRS page into a fast, modern course enrollment experience. Search, filter, save, and select classes from a responsive sidebar instead of hunting through long dropdowns. Version 2.0 also brings the Portal ITS dashboard, Presensi, grades, schedules, and transcript export into the same extension. ## What's New in v2.0.0 * One extension now handles FRS enrollment, the Portal dashboard, Presensi, grades, schedules, and transcripts. * Advanced filtering by course type: Prodi, TPB, MBKM, or Pengayaan. * SKS filtering: 2, 3, 4, or 5+ SKS. * Persistent favorites for preparing a course wishlist before enrollment. * TanStack Virtualization for smooth browsing through large course lists. * Automatic session recovery for Akademik and Presensi pages. * Transcript export as correctly named PDF files. ## Permission Update Notice EasyFRS 2.0 adds support for Portal ITS, Presensi, and transcript export, so Chrome may ask existing users to review and approve new permissions after updating. The extension only requests access to the ITS academic domains it needs: `portal.its.ac.id`, `akademik.its.ac.id`, and `presensi.its.ac.id`. It does not request access to all websites. ## EasyFRS Features * One-click enrollment: click a course card to select it in the official FRS form and continue through the existing CAPTCHA flow. * Instant search: filter courses by code or name. * Real-time quota sync: request the latest participant count from the official List Peserta page. * Participant quick view: open the participant list without searching the original dropdown again. * Persistent favorites: saved courses remain available across browser sessions. * Quick filters: combine course type and SKS filters, then reset them with Clear All. * Fast rendering: virtualized rows keep large course lists responsive. ## Dashboard & Presensi Features * Dashboard: view schedules, grades, GPA, and SKS progress from Portal ITS. * Presensi: detect the currently open class, submit numeric attendance codes, and review attendance summaries. * Transcript export: download official and temporary transcripts directly as correctly named PDF files. * Local caching: previously loaded dashboard and Presensi data remains available while fresh data is requested. ## How to Use EasyFRS 1. Install the extension and sign in to the ITS academic services. 2. Open `akademik.its.ac.id/list_frs.php`. 3. Open the EasyFRS sidebar from the tab on the right side of the page. 4. Search or filter courses, save favorites, and select a course to continue through the official enrollment flow. 5. Open supported Portal ITS or Presensi pages to use dashboard, attendance, grade, schedule, and transcript features. ## Permissions EasyFRS 2.0 requires additional permissions because it now supports more ITS academic services beyond the original FRS page. * `storage` — used to save favorite courses and local cached academic data on your device. * `debugger` — used only to call Chrome’s `Page.printToPDF` when exporting transcripts. * `downloads` — used only to save transcript PDF files to your device. * Host access to `portal.its.ac.id`, `akademik.its.ac.id`, and `presensi.its.ac.id` — used to load dashboard, FRS, Presensi, grades, schedules, and transcript data from official ITS services. EasyFRS does not request access to all websites. The extension only declares access to the ITS domains listed above. ## Privacy EasyFRS operates locally in your browser. Academic data, favorites, cached dashboard data, and Presensi data are not sent to an external service controlled by the developer. Requests are made only to the ITS services needed for each feature. ## Disclaimer EasyFRS is a UI tool for the existing ITS systems. It does not bypass CAPTCHA, automate enrollment, alter system-side data, or override ITS rules. This student-made extension is not officially affiliated with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS).
