Overview

Click any upload button to attach files you just copied (even in Finder or Explorer) or downloaded. Nothing is stored or sent.

Attach the file you just copied or downloaded, right from the upload button. When you click an upload button on any website, EasyFile shows a small panel next to it with: • files and images from your clipboard, including files copied in Finder or File Explorer and pictures copied in messengers and other apps; • your recent downloads, with previews; • “Choose on computer…” for the regular file dialog. One click, and the file is attached. No more digging through folders for the screenshot you just took or the PDF you just downloaded. HOW IT WORKS • Click a tile to attach a file. If the website accepts several files, tick a few (or drag across them) and click “Attach”. • Keyboard: 1–9 picks a file, arrows move between tiles, Enter attaches, Esc closes. • Copied something after the panel opened? Press ⌘V / Ctrl+V right in the panel. • Only files the website accepts are shown: if it wants images, you see images. • Hold ⌥ (Alt) while clicking an upload button to skip EasyFile and open the regular dialog. • If there is nothing to offer, the regular dialog opens straight away. SETTINGS • Turn EasyFile off everywhere or on particular websites, from the toolbar menu or the settings page. • Light, dark or system theme. • Show 4, 8 or 12 recent downloads, or none. PRIVACY EasyFile reads the clipboard and your downloads list only when you click an upload button, and only to show them in its panel. A website gets a file only when you pick it. Nothing is stored and nothing is sent anywhere: no servers, no analytics, no ads. Only your settings are saved, on your computer. Privacy policy: https://lovipomidorku.github.io/easyfile-privacy/ ONE-TIME SETUP FOR DOWNLOADS Chrome doesn’t let extensions read files on your computer by default. To offer recent downloads, EasyFile asks you to turn on “Allow access to file URLs” once, and the welcome page walks you through it. Copied files work without it.
