Easy Spec - Playwright
Overview
Build a test flow by picking elements on the page, and export Playwright tests + Page Objects straight into your project folder.
Easy Spec - Playwright helps you build and manage browser test automation directly from your browser, without leaving the page you're testing. Click through your app with the built-in element picker, and each click becomes a step in a Flow that matches Playwright's own API. Flows replay live in your own tab -- keeping your real session, not a fresh headless browser -- and chain into Scenarios for ordered, parametric runs across features. Every Flow and Scenario generates deterministic Playwright and TypeScript code, plus reusable Page Objects, written straight into your project folder. Review it, diff it -- no model sits in the code path. Built for QA engineers, developers, and the AI agents working alongside them. The element picker infers locators and methods automatically. Page Objects are shared and reused across flows. Scenarios compose flows, or other scenarios, into ordered runs with dataset support. Live replay shows real error messages and selector suggestions on failure. A bundled local MCP server also lets a connected AI assistant, such as Claude Code, inspect your project, edit flows, and drive your browser directly, only once you approve that exact connection in the side panel. Easy Spec runs entirely on your machine. There's no backend server; your project files stay in the folder you choose.
